Comment letter regarding the Rockhill Quarry Qualitative Geologic Survey has been posted.  DEP has provided to applicant consultant for a response. 



You are receiving this email from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) because you have expressed interest in the Rock Hill Quarry in East Rockhill Township, Bucks County.

Mining and related activities remain under a cessation order. DEP has given the quarry operator approval to resume sampling for naturally occurring asbestos at the quarry, in accordance with their conditionally approved April 3, 2019 sampling plan. Sampling work is scheduled to begin on Thursday, April 18, 2019. With this work, you may see additional employees, vehicles, or other activity on site as the sampling progresses.
