Beginning Monday, July 8, through late August, the bridge carrying Route 313 (Dublin Pike/Swamp Road) over Deep Run will be closed and detoured between Chelfield Road and Applebutter Road in Hilltown and Bedminster townships, Bucks County.

During the closure, Route 313 (Dublin Pike/Swamp Road) motorists will be detoured over Route 113 (Bedminster Road) and Route 611 (Easton Road). Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone.

PennDOT’s contractor will replace the existing structure with a concrete box culvert; mill and pave the roadway; install impact attenuators; and replace the guiderail.

Built in 1924, and reconstructed in 1940, the single-span bridge is 14 feet long and 38 feet wide and carries an average of 17,018 vehicles a day.

Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles by visiting www.511PA.com or downloading the 511PA application for iPhone and Android devices. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information, and access to more than 950 traffic cameras.

Please contact PennDOT with any questions or concerns.
