On Saturday, October 23, 2021, from 10am - 2pm help protect our youth and environment by safely disposing of medications at a local drive up and drop in location.
Why?
- Over 50% of people who misuse prescription pain relievers get them from friends or relatives
- Prescription and over-the-counter drugs are the most commonly misused substances by Americans age 14 and older, after marijuana and alchohol
- When drugs are flushed down the toilet, filters may not remove all of the chemicals
Products Accepted:
- Prescription and over-the-counter solid medications, i.e. tablets and capsules
- Liquid medications, inhalers, creams, ointments, nasal sprays
- Pet medications
- Vaping devices, cartridges, pods and e-liquids (please remove batteries)
Products NOT Accepted:
- Injectables and needles
- Illicit substances
