A Grange is a grassroots, non-partisan, nonsectarian, fraternal organization with roots in agriculture. The Middletown Grange Fair started in 1948 as a project to participate in a national contest sponsored by the Farm Journal magazine to attempt to raise 300 bushels per acre. The first fair exhibited farm machinery, supplies, automotive, as well as household goods.
The Middletown Grange Fair is back this year after taking a hiatus due to COVID-19. The fair will boast amusement rides, live music, farm animals, artwork, contests, games, shopping, food, entertainment, and much more.
