Public Sewer
East Rockhill Township provides public sewer by being a member of the Pennridge Wastewater Treatment Authority and by a system owned and maintained by East Rockhill Township which includes a treatment plant, pump station and sewer lines which services more than 1,300 customers.
All sewer billing inquires, payments, and related information are handled by East Rockhill.
Bills are sent four times a year in January, April, July and October for the prior quarter as a fixed dollar amount based on residential or non-residential use, number of equivalent dwelling units (EDUs) and current fee schedule. All transfer of sewer ownership must be received in writing.
Payments can be made through the Citizen Action Center Portal, at the drive-up sewer payment box located in front of the Township Municipal Office or in-person at the Township Municipal Office during business hours.

Sewer Certification
A sewer certification is a document prepared by East Rockhill Township verifying the amount due on an account at the time of sale or refinance.
- Who should request a certification? The title company, realtor or attorney handling the settlement.
- When should a certification be requested? Certifications are due at least six (6) business days prior to sale or refinance
