Significant rainfall is anticipated in Bucks County with the remnants of Hurricane Ida passing through Wednesday 9/1/2021 and departing Thursday morning.
Rainfall is likely to exceed 6 inches with the potential of significant flooding and flash flooding given that the ground is saturated from recent heavy rain events.
With Three Mile Run and East Branch Perkiomen waterways located in East Rockhill Township everyone has a role to play:
- Property owners remove obstructions from driveway pipes, private basins and easements
- Public Works ensures road way pipes are clear of debris
- Pennridge Regional Police does routine checks of all areas known to have the potential of flooding
