The East Rockhill Township 2023 Preliminary Budget showing receipts and expenditures in the amount of $4,903,457.00 all funds is available for public inspection. Public comment, questions or concerns can be directed to the Township Manager.
The Board of Supervisors will receive public comment and consider for adoption November 22, 2022 at 7:00p.m.
Budget Highlights:
- No increase to real estate tax millage, sewer usage rate or street light assessment
- Public Works overlay on section of Ridge Run Road
- Replace a 2005 10-ton dump truck
- Branch Creek walking trail stormwater improvements
- Iron Bridge Park parking lot expansion
- Willard H. Markey Centennial Park walking trail paved
- Willard H. Markey Centennial Park playset replaced
- Public Works building replacement project
- Pennridge Regional Police 24/7 coverage
- Federal American Rescue Fund distribution to: five fire companies; Grand View Hospital Ambulance and St. Luke's Ambulance; Pennridge Community Center; Pennridge FISH; Pennridge Regional Police; meeting room sound system
- MS4 stormwater as mandated by DEP for Federal compliance
- Consultant expenses related to Rock Hill Quarry
Township Staff help and support:
- 5,819 residents in 12.9 square miles
- 37.14 miles of Township roads and right-of-way
- Mow 110 acres
- Oversee 1,216 acres Township preserved land
- Maintain 3 parks, 3 playgrounds, 3 dwellings and a trail system
- Spring yard waste and fall leaf collection
- Operate a public golf driving range
- In-house maintenance of the fleet and equipment
- Maintain a sewer system that includes a treatment plant and pump station
- Respond to 1,100 sewer customers
- Review, respond and issue up to 350 permit applications annually
