AN ORDINANCE OF EAST ROCKHILL TOWNSHIP AMENDING SECTION 1717 OF CHAPTER 27 OF THE EAST ROCKHILL TOWNSHIP CODE OF ORDINANCES TO REMOVE REFERENCES TO SPECIFIC ROADS WITHIN THE TOWNSHIP; AMENDING SECTION 506 OF CHAPTER 22 OF THE EAST ROCKHILL TOWNSHIP CODE OF ORDINANCES TO RECLASSIFY THREE MILE RUN ROAD EAST OF STATE RTE. 313 AND OLD BETHLEHEM ROAD FROM MINOR COLLECTOR TO LOCAL ACCESS ROADS; AMENDING CHAPTER 15 OF THE EAST ROCKHILL TOWNSHIP CODE OF ORDINANCES TO PROVIDE FOR SPEED LIMITS AND INSTALLATION OF APPROPRIATE SIGNAGE ON THE ENTIRETY OF THREE MILE RUN ROAD AND OLD BETHLEHEM ROAD; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE FIVE DAYS AFTER ENACTMENT
Notice is hereby given that the East Rockhill Township Board of Supervisors will consider for possible adoption an ordinance, of which this Notice is a summary, amending the East Rockhill Township Code of Ordinances at Chapter 27, Zoning, to remove references to individual roads and refer to the Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance; to revise Chapter 22 to reclassify Old Bethlehem Road and Three Mile Run Road, east of State Route 313 from minor collector to local access roads; and Chapter 15, Motor Vehicles and Traffic, to revise the speed limits on Old Bethlehem Road and Three Mile Run Road, east of State Route 313, to twenty-five miles per hour. The hearing on the proposed ordinance will be at the regularly scheduled meeting of June 25, 2024, 7:00 p.m., at the East Rockhill Township Municipal Building, 1622 Ridge Road, Perkasie, PA 18944.
