PRPD 2024

East Rockhill Township would like to thank and acknowledge the Pennridge Regional Police Department. 

2024 Accomplishments:

  • Obtained NIBRS Certification which allows detailed crime data to be reported to the FBI. 
  • Installed license plate readers at seven major intersections with a Pennsylvania Commission Crime and Delinquency (PCCD) grant award.
  • New 9mm Glock handguns with red dot sight picture equipment for officer firearm proficiency. 
  • New Headquarter foyer entrance window improving interaction between officers and visitors to the station. 
  • Updated surveillance camera system. 
  • Introduced a middle cover schedule position that allows for efficient deployment of officers during higher call volumes and traffic. 
  • Officer Klein was added to the Central Bucks Special Response Team to serve as a member of the SWAT team. 
  • Officer Koerper was added to the department bringing the police department staffing to thirteen officers and one civilian. 
  • Two Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) Grant awards over $180,000 for 2025 patrol vehicle replacement, speed board and new interview room.

2025 Goals:

  • Attaining accreditation with the Pennsylvania Law Enforcement Accreditation Commission with the task anticipated to be completed in 2026.
  • Install license plate reader cameras at two new intersections with the 2023 PCCD grant award.
  • Transition to new records management system.
